Identifying a Jane Doe

A previous enquiry we made a while back (LINK) – into the Christmas 2010 suicide of Lori Ruff in Longview, Texas brought no resolution, until a team of investigators and scientists used DNA and damn good sleuthing.  Lori Ruff  had created a false identity in the names of Becky Sue Turner, Lori Erica Kennedy and then Lori Ruff when she married.  The woman who committed suicide, proved to have been born Kimberly McLean in Pennsylvania on 16th October 1968.

Notes:  For a quick answer to this case, Kimberly McLean has a Leo Moon (needs). In reality, the moon does not have a light source at all – it’s benign as a satellite of the Earth. In fact the surface of the Moon reflects the light from the Sun in order for us to see it at night. That is why we call the Moon our needs – it’s always there (something we need) as a satellite of our planet, Earth. So our needs are always with us and when the sun reflects off the Moon that is our ‘wants’/ego softened by our needs. There is a whole lot of astrology study that could be done on the phase of the Moon in a chart which would determine how strong the Moon’s influence (how more important our needs versus our wants), but that’s not on my agenda 🙂 Now where was I? Yes a Leo Moon. That is someone who needs recognition and honoured as a unique entity – that’s why we call it the ‘queen complex’. Kimberly has a Libra (the scales) Sun so she always has a balance issue – usually to do with fairness. (That’s why Lady Justice holds the scales) As we know a teen is still learning about who they are and where they fit in the world. She moved out of home and that didn’t work, so she left altogether. When a child doesn’t reconnect with family it is often a stubborn issue and a Leo Moon is what we call ‘fixed’ plus in a fire sign so Kimberly was obviously resourceful enough to forge (fire) her own way in the world.

A successful Leo Moon character needs to learn to be magnanimous – i.e. forgiving. When we look to the suicide it’s there again – she did not forgive her husband for leaving her. Nessus (abuse of trust) will likely be in the case as well.

If we take away all the embellishments I’ve added – the natal chart is quite clearly a difficult character to be born with. Driven from an Aries Saturn retrograde at 22Aries. I would suggest that there was an intensity of a clash with her family in her reality and it was likely a case of ‘kill or be killed’ (not literally) if she didn’t get away.

A successful Leo Moon character needs to learn to be magnaminous – i.e. forgiving. When we look to the suicide it’s there again – she did not forgive her husband for leaving her. Nessus (abuse of trust) will likely be in the case as well.

So look to the elements in her natal chart… She has lots of (C) Cardinal to help her be independent plus a (F) Fixed Moon – shehas the tools in her kit to make a go of life. That’s before we look to the weaknesses by checking aspects etc.

OK so what have we got in the natal chart working against her? Black Moon Lilith (weakest linke) is EXACT Nessus at 13Gemini -lies and abuse of trust are her weakest link – this would work both sides of the coin – to her and by her. Tied in with this would be Saturn opposite Mercury (her voice) ambition to speak her thoughts. Sun/Mercury= Saturn by oppositon (tension) sadness about separation together with a serious outlook. She knew the decision she made to walk away from her family. Borasissi (lies we tell ourselves in order to be happy) is opposite Nemesis – living the lie is what brought her to suicide, I would expect. She’s boxed in by her Lunar Nodal axis – incapable of finding a way out. Plus remember she has a big issue with forgiveness

We also have (see green dotted lines) – Venus/Pluto-Jupiter=Saturn — fear of losing love. All of this is in the natal chart even before we look to transits. When her parents divorced this would have impacted hugely on her – loss of a father’s love due to mother moving away with a new step-father. Saturn is always the father figure. That’s why Saturn Rx is problematic in a natal chart. Kimberly has a Saturn Rx.

For the background, we need to know if the retrograde was mom stopping father being a male mentor to the child or father’s absence. It appears that he was around from the media story, so it will be a dominant mom most likely.
